Here we all are anonymous in cyberspace voicing our opinions but 90% of us are hiding. I like the sound of a lot of people I have read on Answers, some sound great fun but this seems to be as far as it goes. Wouldn't it be great if we all took a leaf out of a 7 year old child's book and were able to make friends with someone in your peer group within 5 minutes of talking to them? Is anyone out there brave enough ?

There is a guy in my school that I like and his name is John. He called me ugly twice but after that he stopped. He always finds some excuse to mess with me, even if its stupid or not. For example, on Friday he asked me where I was from and on thursday he was joking around with one of his friends and he said that I took his friend's jacket (as a joke). Whenever I see him, hes usually looking at me and smiling and talking to his friends at the same time. Yesterday he was across the street from me and he was staring at me pratically.Does he like me? If he does, then how do I tell him that I like him too, because if he doesn't, I don't want his friends to make fun of me for the rest of the year.
Thanks!

I have made it quite clear that i don't want anything to do with my child's mother. The child was concieved out of pure sex and not love. She is unable to seperate how i feel about her and how i feel about the child. She decided to come off the pill without telling me and trapped me as a result. Now that the child is there i want to be a part of his life but not hers. i don't want to go the legal road because i don't think a judge should say today is Wednesday you can see your child.. I pay child support and i am never late with my payments. she won't even answer her phone to let me know how he is.

My 6 month-old has always been VERY friendly. But lately, she's "scared" of some people, especially those with loud laughter. My mother-in-law has a boyfriend, who has a loud laughter, and my daughter is so afraid of him. When he comes to visit, she could be all smiles, and as soon as she sees him, she starts to pout, and to cry. I know that she will eventually grow out of it, and that it's only a "phase", but my mother-in-law INSISTS on bringing the baby closer to him. yesterday, she even asked him if he wanted to hold her! I felt a bit upset, to be honest, because she didn't ask ME if it was ok, and she knows the baby is scared of that man, why can't she wait until later, when the baby feels more comfortable around him? By the way, he laughed when he had her on his lap, and sure enough, she started to cry! Is it necessary to put the baby thru that? Could it be better if my MIL would give her time to get used to seeing him around? How can I talk to her about this without upseting her?

In this day and age why is race hating more prevalent than before? Would you allow yourself or your child to date or marry someone from another race? Please give good feedback as to why you would or wouldn't.

Thank you.

Why do women get so upset when men look at them after they spend so much time looking good. If they are going to wear sexy dress and let everything almost hang out than why do they get so upset when men look? I say if you do not want to be looked at than you should stay at home. I'm not a pervert; but, i love to look at beautiful things and if your going to flunt it I'm going to look. So why do you get so upset when men look? As with so many other men; I/we, will never understand this mentality.

Well ladies, put yourself in this scenario...
If you were in a library, and some stranger comes up to you and compliment about how gorgeous you are (true compliment) and at the end he gives you his mobile number(cell phone for American) and said that"If you are interested please give me a call, if not still give me a call, we can be friend".
In that situation, how would you ladies react, is it appropriate at all?
If you ladies thinks its OK to do so, I'll do it right away. Thanks

After me and my fiance moved in together and living together for a few years we have everything we could ever need for our home. Nice things that I do not want to replace. So I think there is no need for wedding gifts at our wedding and we have decided to not even mention gifts.
People I know have told me that our relatives are bringing something regardless..
Does anyone have any suggestions on what we might ask for that would be ok to get us for the people that insist getting a gift?
I know I know its tacky but some of these stubborn relatives are getting something for us regardless and I would rather them not waste money and get me something I already have 25 of

I'll admit it im a lil jealous, but i think that is wrong for man who are married to see stripers and im trying to change my mind about that unless really is bad. I cant imagine a girl getin naked in front of my man drives me crazy. I think if a guy goes its because hes not satified with what he has in his life, and then i wouldnt want him to come home sleep with me and think about those girls. Even before you get married i stil think is wrong i think those things are for man who are womanizers. Am i wrong do u think its ok? and why? Please how can i change my mind about this? if you think its ok. P.s. i would think guys who do go are cheaters cuz they need other to see other naked girls so they tend to cheat.

I am filing from my husband. We have an 11 year old and a 5 year old. He is never home. He is always hunting and fishing... I mean he is gone every morning before we wake up and he doesn't get back home until we are in bed. We hardly ever get to see him. On occassions, and I do mean occassions when he is home all he does is complain or fuss and hollar at the kids. (From the bedroom) because when he is home he stays in the bed asleep or in the bedroom watching T.V. We have been together for 6 years (he adopted my son). In 6 years we have probably been all in the car together maybe 4 times. He never does anything with us. And he doesn't understand why I want a divorce... Am I wrong for wanting a divorce?

So i like this guy, and we've been friends a while. I think he might like me back but i cant tell. The other day at a football game he let me and only me wear his favorite hat, his friends always mess with me when i talk to him, and when i talk to him and his friends he stands relatively close to me. What does that mean and how can you tell if guys like you.

I hardly know my father. O.k. My dad has been in my life physically but not emotionally or anything else...He would get home and slam the door to his room and don't talk to us. This went on for many years well uptil I was 18...My mom and dad split up almost 9 years ago...I lost my brother in a car accident last year and he didn't show any emotion to anything...I've tried to call him and visit plenty of times and just gave up after nothing on the other end. I reduced my calls and visits to 3 times a year for a half an hour or less. (Mardi Gras, Halloween, and fair time) Just yesterday, he called me out the blue...I asked him what he was up to and he said chilling and doing nothing, so I asked him if he would like me and my kids to visit and he says not to get out my way to go there. I told him that it was up to him if he wanted company and he said no...I even asked him if he wanted to come eat with us for lunch and he said no...I don't know what is wrong with him...any suggestions

Heres the details, Theres this younger man about a six years age difference from me. He's asked me out, and flirts with me constanley. I've been flirting back. Hes pretty cute and all. I'm Kindof starting to like him a lil, and one of my best friends knows it. So we were at my best friends house last nite, and we were all drinking. Shes an ausome person, were really close, except I went to the bathroom and when I came out she was in her bedroom with him, the door was closed. So I was so upset that I went home crying. What should I do. She said she didnt do anything, but he called me let me know that they were kissing and all. That he was sorry, it was the drunkness hitting him. What do you guys think? What do I do? I really don't need the drama, just gotten my heartbroken almost three months ago by my Ex Bf. Its still hurts, and now this happens. I'm starting to have major trust issues with people, and that scares me.

I just don't get his jokes. I don't think he is funny at all, and I wish he would stop trying to be. Other than that he is 100% dreamy to me. I adore him. I just wish he would not try and make me laugh.

Are we doomed?
