I have a fiancé I’m pretty happy with. There's great things in her but I'm worried about a big fact that she’s mentally slow or mildly retarded. She has a hard time understanding things. This limits the type of conversations I would like to have with a partner. Also this limits the things I want to do in my life. My parents constantly warn me about continuing the relationship. I do agree with my parent’s suggestions. I could be selling my life short by marrying her. My life dreams are somewhat harder to accomplish with the relationship. I’m struggling on the decision of keeping or ending the relationship. She has had a difficult life of being jobless, mother passing away, and being abused in past relationships. I don’t want to crush her spirit by leaving her; I’m her one. Also, I made promises of not leaving her. But I’m afraid I won’t be happy if I stay with her. What's the best thing I can do?

Since the birth of my daughter I have had this program called first steps calling every week for 3 months now, just "checking on us"...They told me they were calling to make sure she is developing properly but after researching them on the net I found otherwise...None of my other friends get calls and they have newborns as well...

I have no clue why they would need to call and check on us if it isnt something they do to everyone...I dont have any kind of mental problems or anything, neither does my husband. One of my friends would have motive to report me to get back at me, I won't get into that though.


Is there anyway I can find out if she has reported me to them?

I am very close to my family(mother, grandmother, aunts) and we usually get along pretty well. I have had the same boyfriend for 2 years now and they still don't like him. We have just had a child together and I really just want them to except him, and the fact that we are going to be together. He is not perfect but no one is. He also has had run in with the law when he was younger but he is 29 now and has been out of trouble for a while(more than 6 years). I really love him and don't plan on leaving him. Should I expect my family to like or except him? Is there anything I can do to make this happen? Also it puts a strain on our relationship because he knows how close I am to my family and that they don't like him. How can I reassure him that I am not going to leave him? Can I live peacfully with him and my family in my life? If so explain. Any good advice will help.

Ok so after all that me and the guy talked friday night finally after like 4 days and he said he still wanted to talk and that he liked me too much not to want me in his life....of course i was like aww...so then he called sunday night saying he missed me and wanted to come over monday (today) and then we just went on talking and he wants to sleep together but im not ready for that how do i tell him?

We have only been married 6 months...I like pleasing him, but I don't find enough pleasure in sex to motivate me to have it. I have avoided too much contact like the plague for the past month for fear he would want sex. my dad left my mom about a month ago..he jus left and got his own place. We all didn't kno til he walked out with is stuff. He left with this girl name Coco. My mom has been married to him for 15 years. She cries about it all the time. Everytime I see him I get so mad. I hate him. My dad is a officer. When he was on duty he was driving and hit a woman. He killed her instantly. He was on the news and ppl new he was my father. (you can imagine how tht went -_-) he said he had to got to nashville to clear his head. My daughter is 17 years old and lives in florida with my inlaws she wants to get emancipated! i can't stop shoplifting. this is a bad habbit of mine. i already have my husbands christmas gifts. i got him a craftsman tool set , colonge set , briefcase , wallet and some other small items. he knows i went through this bad habbit once before but does not know i am still shoplifting. i am scared that if he finds out he will leave me , this time for good! i am so frightened that he will find out i stold his x-mas gifts.
