Well being a girl, I will just give a few ways I would like to be approached...first just a greeting can go a long way. Say Hello, smile, and ask something like "How's your day going?". Or anything... Just be friendly. If she answers kind of positively, then talk about school...what class is her favorite...who's the best teacher...sports...family..or even things like favorite colors or food. Over all, just act comfortably and chat for awhile. Tell somethings about yourself but dont be overbearing and center the conversation only around you. If you are watchful, you will be able to tell how she reacts to your approach, if she likes it or not...once you get to small talk...any other subject is easy as long as you both feel comfortable around each other. Just start..go for it! If you blunder...nobody will kill you...try again.

Whatever interests you. Or talk about school... Ask questions. People like to talk about themselves.
