I was in a relationship for 14 years. We have 2 children and what i thought a good life...About a year and a half ago I found out he was in love with another woman (one of our friends). We tried counseling, but in the end it ruined our relationship. Now, I'm in another relationship and I'm having a lot of insecurity and jealousy issues. It's starting to ruin my new relationship. I dont know what to do. I dont want to lose this new guy, but I CANNOT get hurt again. Any suggestions?

Ok so here's the situation: We've been dating for a couple of weeks. He told me about 2 weeks ago that the girl he was dating before we became exclusive, he still has feelings for. As far as I know, he hasn't seen her very much and we had a GREAT date last night. He even told me last night later on that he still has feelings for her, but "I've been hanging out with you, so that should tell you something." I'm liking the chase, and this guy is really worth it. I just have never chased a guy before, and I need to know how to win him over right! I don't want to move too fast or too slow I want to get him! Help!!

I'm 16 years old and I have slept with my mums ex boyfriend who is 46. He has 4 children, two older than me.
Well, mum mum was seeing David* and really liked him. I got on really well with him and we could sit and chat for hours and hours and it was great. When they broke up I was really upset but I got over it, my mum is with someone else now and although i'm not as close to him as I was to david, he's still great.
Anyway, I dropped out of college and was looking for a job, and as David owns his own company, i sent him a quick text asking him if he had any jobs spare, we sent a few texts as I still really liked him and we arranged to meet up for a drink.
I ended up getting drunk and having sex with him. I saw him again 5 days later and stayed over at his house and slept with him again (about 5 times!) and now I cant get him out of my head. he is just so lovely and affectionate towards me and cuddles me and helps me through my problems. I dont feel the age is a problem. Is this OK?

Ok, my ex dumped me 2 months ago (after a 4 yr relationship) i was thinking about her non stop until i met this gal on saturday nite, weve been txting a lot over the last few days, i aint really thought about my ex these last few days, because of this new gal. is it too soon after a long relationship to start maybe dating a new gal...? generally these 'rebound' relationships dont last, and will not be fair to the new gal... What should i do...? i would like to meet this new gal again soon, we seem to ave a lot in common.

Influence of Birth Order

Hi I am doing a survey for a class, If you would like to help that would be great! This survey is comparing how peoples birth order with there siblings relates to how fair they are treated.

1) Please state your age, sex and birth order.

2) Do you think your parents treated you differently based on your birth order?

3) How would you be different if you were born in another position?

4) How would you be different if you were born a different sex in the same position?

5) How does your position affect you today? How does this, or will this effect your parenting style?

Thanks!

Since I've been here (and even before this) all that ever happens is me being dropped on my rear-end by a guy. I've had my fairshare of boyfriends. Some lasted a few months, others a few weeks. But lately my relations with guys have only lasted a week or shorter. I really don't think it's me, or at least I hope not. I am a college student. It seems like guys love to hang out with me, but we only go out one day, and it goes no further. And if it does go farther, its only for a few days. Once they realize they're not getting in my pants, they totally lose interest, or even if thats not the case, they wont talk to me for about a week. I'm not desperate, and I'm not constantly boy-hunting. This has happened with two different guys since the semester has started. It's frustrating, and I don't know what to do. I'd like to find someone worth being with, but it seems they're not on this campus. What should I do? And please dont be disgusting. Pants are staying on till a ring's on the finger.

I've been dating a guy for a month now. He is friendly, gorgeous and a good person. But he is always talking about marriage and babies. Saying it would make him the happiest man alive if i got pregnant. He also says things like 'will you move in with me' and 'marry me'. I just laugh at him sometimes but i can tell he's being serious. Why do you think he is rushing things?insecurity?

My wife and I are talking about swinging - maybe just watching/being watched at first, but she is concerned that she is too overweight (about 50 lbs) and nobody would want to see/touch her and she would be too uncomfortable. Anyone dealt with this kind of thing? I have a feeling a lot of swingers are a lot more overweight than this and make out fine.

If you are out with your wife or girlfriend and other men openly check her out, do you get mad? If so, do you get angry with her or with the guys doing it? Or does it not bother you? Women, does your guy get mad at you for this? My current boyfriend laughs at them, but my ex used to get furious with me.

I ask because I am in a dilemma. To put it simple, My girlfriend and I are in a love which cannot be compared. To both of us it is important to wait until we are married to express our love, but it really is hard. We want to so much just share the intimacy whic comes with making love. And this is where the question comes in. I have a scientific background, so I can't accept the arguments 'I just know', but the thing is, 'I just know' that if we share this intimacy, she will fall pregnant. I'm not worried about this, i am actually looking forward to beginning our family together. I just know.

Do any of you believe in 'Just Knowing'?. Let me know your thoughts.

If you really know that your best friend is happy in the things he is doing, but in your self you know that it is not good.

I've been talking to this girl for about 3weeks now and I've been really nice I always let her know how happy she makes me and she does the same. The other day she told me she was sick so I ran to the store bought some chicken noodle soup. I picked the chicken out of it because he hates the chicken in chicken noodle soup. Her most favorite thing in the world is a Lemon slush from sonic and peanut butter m&m's. Well one day she was having a bad day and her dad was in a bad mood so I couldn't come over. So I got a slush some m&m's and two pink roses I hand picked. I went to her house well I snuck up to her house in the rain and left them on her doorstep. She was having a bad day and i wanted to be the reason she had to smile. Now take in to account we're not going out only talking. Am I too nice....
