Influence of Birth Order

Hi I am doing a survey for a class, If you would like to help that would be great! This survey is comparing how peoples birth order with there siblings relates to how fair they are treated.

1) Please state your age, sex and birth order.

2) Do you think your parents treated you differently based on your birth order?

3) How would you be different if you were born in another position?

4) How would you be different if you were born a different sex in the same position?

5) How does your position affect you today? How does this, or will this effect your parenting style?

Thanks!

25, Female, Middle child

Yes, I look back and know that I was kinda left outta the loop at lot of the times because I wasnt the oldest or the youngest!

Obviously I would have gotten more attention if I was the last born as well as the first.

I dont think there would be any difference if I was a male! Either or the middle child gets left out!

Has not affected me personaly but more so my parenting styles... As a mother of 2 and expecting baby number three. I remember how it felt to be left out and watch the younger ones get, as well as the older one. From my expierence I refuse to let this happen to either of my baby's!

Im a 30 year old female and I am the oldest of 3 girls. My parents always expected more from me, as I experienced everything first growing up. My little sister was the baby and got everything she wanted. My middle sister had the best of both worlds. If I was a boy with two little sisters I would probably be more protective of them, but not as close to them as I am now. I enjoy being the oldest and I feel like whenever I have children, I'll raise them exactly how I was raised.

25, F, Youngest child
-yes my parents DId treat me differently, as i got away with a lot more things than my older siblings
-if i were born another position, i'd probably be more responsible/less impulsive
-if i were born male, i'd probably not like the color pink as much
-i think i am a textbook 'youngest' child. nobody takes the youngest kids seriously! and we have the most fun!

What government? start order would impression very lots, yet no longer philosophy, i think of. That has greater to do with the era wherein one is born, and the communal ethos, and relatives lifestyle, into which one is born. Then it is as much as one's very own intelligence! regrettably, by potential of the seem of the international.
