especially in a relationship why is jealously a bad thig to run into?

The old saying goes "When jealousy rears its ugly head".Think about it.Thats why its unattractive...Jealousy has alot to do with two things;1) Insecurity,someone who is insecure in themselves or in a relationship will be jealous.2)Lake of trust,If for some reason the trust goes out,then the jealousy sets in.You can have a harmless conversation on the phone and right away you are interested in that person.Actually there is another one...People who want what other poeple have,now this is considered envy,which turns into jealousy..I hope that answers you question..

It shows the immaturity of an individual, it destroys all the joy from a relationship, it is really a situation that needs to be dealt w/and worked on so that a future w/o jealously can be found.
Jealousy is like taking all the oxygen out of a room in which no one can breath any longer.

jealously is not always bad but there is a fine line to which it becomes bad. It can bring out the worst in people if not careful.

Too much negative energy overtime kills love EVERYTIME
Anger is a negative emotion and we don't control the future. Suffering over the future = hole in boundary. Holes in your boundary allows for codependent relationships. It's not healthy.

Because jealousy is a wasted emotion...it doesn't help the peson who's feeling that way because they get no internal satisfaction from projecting their disappointment; and, they also have no effect on the decision-making processes of the person of interest. All it does is feed into the unhappiness...

Jeolousy=lack of trust. My husband is jeolous of my time on this sight. He thinks i might sleep with the people i e-mail? Even though they are spead out around the world. Doesn't make since to me.

Not all jealousy is bad...if it is displayed in a healty manner. It makes me feel a bit good that my man doesn't like other guys around me, but he shows his jealousy by drawing me close to him and giving me affection. The bad jealousy is when someone tries to control who you see and what you do based on their insecure feelings...that is not healthy
