We live in india, studying in da same college. His parents are very supportive, but mine, they are the orthodox kind will not approve of such a marriage... I am scared they may take extreme steps to stop us getting married...Please help me... Really confused.

my girlfriend has a really important interview tomorrow, i want to send her a text in the morning saying good luck, but want to say something sweet to her, to calm her nerves. dont want it to be too soppy though. any ideas? I'm not that good with words so wanted to say something quite well-thought out, e.g. that she'll do amazing!

Well its a fact that women are generally better at detecting things like cheating and are normally batter liars. If a woman cheats she in my opinion is far more likely to get away with it than a man. I know that’s why we have marriage, to try to keep women faithful however even with that it still seems women are still far better than men. At such things. I know men aren’t perfect a lot of the time however I bet far more men get caught than women.

My girl friend is Canadian, and her father abandoned her when she was very young. She always hangs out with other male friends, and it really bothers me a lot. I told her to stop doing it. But she keeps telling me that I should trust her, and sometimes she even calls me sexist. I really like her, but I can't stand this anymore. Do you think her acting this way is somewhat related to her father that abandoned her? or is this just very typical thing to do for North american girls? Are you girls hang out with other guys a lot when you actually have boyfriends too?

i have a friend who is a big girl. she is extremely sweet and i think she is gorgeous. she has a guyfriend that she asked out recently and he said no. she was really hurt and was talking to me about her selfesteem took a blow from it.

i convinced her to ask him why he said no. in their discussion she asked him very bluntly if it was her weight. he said "no, i don't pay much attention to that stuff...i think you are a wonderful friend, i am just not interested. and i know that hurts, but i can't lead you on or anything...what kind of friend would i be if i did that?'

so, my question is, do you think his reply is truthful or you think because she is heavier than him, he is just trying to be nice?

I have been with my boyfriend for a year and a half. He has two male friends that he grew up with and hangs out with them every Saturday night, he claims he's 24, he's young and he just needs time to hang or go out with the guys once a week. Is this normal? Am i wrong for being upset?

If someone broke up with you, sure...you're not happy about it, but what's the point in spending more time and energy on them? Doesn't just prove that you're giving them too much power over you? Why does making them, and innocents caught in the crossfire, miserable do for you?

Last night my boyfriend (of only 4 months) was acting oddly when on my computer so i checked the history and this is what i found. I'll shorten it but this long messaging back and forth between him and some girl it was innocent enough at first with them talking about tattoos and movies then two things struck me.
He called her sweetie at one point, and hes not one for pet names. and the last reply he made was "i dunno how to type this without sounding like a ******* pervert but you're kinda cute. "

We're still a new couple, he knows im paranoid about cheating, he spends almost all day everyday with me because he calls me constantly, lately he's been talking about moving in with me because its closer to his new job...

should i worry should i say somethign to him? I was snooping and i know thats bad so if i do tell him i know should i lie about HOW? I know this doesnt seem like much buit hes not a really affectionate guy so things like this are a lot for him.

backround- i met this gal on saturday night, we av only txted at the moment, sent 70 odd texts last few days. i posted a Q before and realise that i need to ring her instead of constant txts..
