are women more likely to cheat and get away with it?

Well its a fact that women are generally better at detecting things like cheating and are normally batter liars. If a woman cheats she in my opinion is far more likely to get away with it than a man. I know that’s why we have marriage, to try to keep women faithful however even with that it still seems women are still far better than men. At such things. I know men aren’t perfect a lot of the time however I bet far more men get caught than women.

Actually women are more inclined to be caught. A women often engages her feelings when she sleeps with a man. She leaves a more of a piece of herself than she gave away. While she may be able to cover up a one night stand anything longer than that she will not be able to hide for long. Also, a woman will not cheat unless she feels that she has exasperated every opportunity to fix whatever problem there is between her and her man. Women are also observant and can instinctively detect when there is a shift in her mates behavior. That alerts us and puts us on the scent like a bloodhound until we find the evidence that will either prove him guilty or innocent of the suspected crime against her.

I think you have it completely backwards. Women can be very deceitful, but so can guys. Most of the time, what gets a woman caught is her own guilty conscience and she tells on her self. Guys on the other hand are far better at justifying in their own mind that they deserve it or it was no big deal and they do not tend to feel as guilty. I do not think either men or women have an advantage when it comes to cheating, I just think it is how perceptive the partner is and how good the cheater is at covering it up.

YES ~ Women are smarter at this. They are smart when they pick who to hook up with, during the affair, and after the affair.

A lot more women are having affairs then people think are having affairs. So many of them are "flying below the radar" on this and are not seen by anyone. It is soooo easy for a woman to meet a guy - all she has to do is smile.

Women are very good at getting what they want on the side (emotional/physical love)...while still keeping what they need at home (a home, food, clothing, kids, hubby to pay, etc.).

Lastly, Men don't really look for cheating in their wife. They just go along day to day clean, fat, and happy until she tells him it is over...or she may just have her boyfriend(s) and never divorce the hubby.

Practice makes perfect, or so the saying goes. Women, for the most part, are better at the art of deception and manipulation since they practice these things more often. And they're always making up scenarios in their minds, it comes from playing with dolls and such when they were young and creating little stories, so they're used to carrying around fabrications in their minds that seem realistic. Even if they get caught, they can whine and cry their way out of it, making it appear as though it wasn't their fault or, better yet, it was your fault for pushing her to it (which is another way of "getting away with it").

Women are quite calculating most of the time to get what they want and in most cases of men cheating it's been the woman (adulterer) who gives it away.

While the woman (victim), may be completely ignorant, eventually it will begin to be a battle for the Male's affection and attention. Which will end in the 2nd woman blowing the whistle!

However should a the woman be cheating the male (adulterer) would just think himself lucky he got lucky and would probably make no effort what-so-ever to continue anything more than just a sexual engagement ....

Woman desire love and attention.
Men look out for whats best for themselves.

Why such a question? Most cheaters end up getting caught. They cheat because they don't care enough about their spouse. Many get dumped even if they aren't caught. The more they cheat the more careless they get and the more evidence they create making it more likely they will be caught. More men get caught simply because more men cheat. They have bigger egos to satisfy.

Yes I think women can get away with it, I said that because women can keep a low profile better then men, Women knows how to keep things on the low. Men always wanna tell all their friends all their buisness and have it all out on the streets. But women like to to be very private, but dont get me wrong we might tell one of our close friends, And some of us also dont cheat with close friend to the family that will say something. So thats how I think it so easier for women.

I think that it's the same for both man and woman. Some women are not very good at hiding their feelings so you'll almost always know something is going on. True some men are not very good liars besides, you expect them to lie so they always get caught. Just tell them: "I don't believe you" and most of the time they look guilty.

Depends on the level of the game. Marriage doesn't equal faithfulness. It just means that 2 people have chosen to commit themselves to each other in the home. What people do outside is another story. I'm not saying that this is they case with everyone but it's a true scenario. But it is true that women tend to be better at the gae because we pay attention to details.

i agree, women don't get caught as much as men but women have something that you men dont - woman intuition! god knew what he was doing there like, women are born with the talent of knowing when someone is cheating on them, but at the same time men are just plain dumb in hiding their infidelities. i mean you dont wear aftershave, shower or sing around the house and then suddenly you do! then you start getting new haircuts, new clothes, new friends, its either mid life crisis or new girlfriend! you men make it far too easy for us women to look exceptionally clever!
