because you have that sense in your soul, that it's; get even or
get worse then he did to you and by letting yourself do that he has entire control over you

There's no point in seeking revenge. Sometimes, the best way 2 get revenge is to leave your ex alone and show them that your life goes on with or without them. Sometimes your mate might threaten to leave u 2 see how u will react. The worst thing u can do is fight to be with someone who doesn't want 2 be with u. If they want u they'll stay with u, if not, there are many more fish in the pond 2 choose from, so cut em loose & fish 4 another. Beyonce's "Irreplaceable" song best describes what im talkin about

You're right. Revenge is like saying " I do care about you. I love you so much that you can actually hurt me and I want to hurt you too."
The best revenge is no revenge AT ALL! Just act like they can't hurt you, keep a smile on your face and keep up with life as usual. If that person cares about you, they will be fuming that you are not hurt or mad or sad or crazy! I've tried this lots of times after break-ups and it makes men so mad!
I once had a boyfriend that was like "You walk around with a smile, you must have never loved me anyway!" I was like "Maybe!". He was so pissed after that and then tried to get me back. I was like " Please!"

I agree with you. You lost. Period. Move on to the next conquest. Revenge is for petty people. Doesn't do much in the way of making you feel any better. All it does is continue making you miserable. Forget it and carry on.

YOu're right, you shouldnt try getting revenge on what they did to you. Karma will take care of it. Besides you really shouldnt give that person any more attention, they did dump you.

It is something that is as old as hurt is. Can't explain but right now I feel that the most urgent thing for me to do is to screw all her friends because she cheated on me with a man who knew me and was her wormate. That should hurt her to some extend, even if not to the level she hurt me.

i don't think it's important to seek revenge, i think it's just a knee-jerk reaction.
if you wait a little while the desire to destroy their life will ebb away.
