How can I tell if they really like me for me? I always feel like they are in it for the wrong reason. Obviously I can't help what I look like or anything like that, but how can I trust guys not to do that?

My mother lost custody of my half brother when he was very young. His father kept him from our family and we have never spoken to him untill I found him on Myspace. Hes 16 now, and we actually chatted for about a year, and then all of a sudden he deleted me from his friends list, set his profile to private, and wont return any emails. I love my brother and want him in my life. There was nothing I could do to keep him with my mom. I was just a kid myself. I am afriad that he will never forgive me or my mother. How can I tell him how much I want him in my life if he wont talk to me? What can I do to get him to forgive me?

My wedding is set for late March 2007. How soon do you think I need to start making plans? My fiance' is a"go with the flow" type of guy so he really isn't as concerned as I am. I like to pay attention to details so I think now is very important! Also, do you have any ideas on what a first time bride should know.

We divorced back in May and he disappeared from our lives to go back to Tn. He only calls every once in a while, doesnt pay child support, and has recently been arrested for 4th offense dwi. I dont want to sever all contact from my kids with their dad but he is totally irresponsible and Im not sure what I should do. going after him in court is pointless because he dosent half work and even then its off the books. I just feel like its so unfair for me to have to work so hard and he always looks like a victim to the kids because hes got it so hard. Do you think I should try to get him to help more or just cut my losses and try to limit the contact he has with us? I wonder if him being around would be more harm than good.

I've liked the same guy for over a year now, and I want to stop. Because I like him so much, and because of something that happened between us, I can feel a hatred develop towards him (Sorry if that didn't make sense.)

And so I really want to wear away the infatuation I have towards him... I've tried making myself like other people, and it's worked. I liked someone else for about a month or two, and I actually forgot about him. But for some reason I stopped feeling that way, and my old feelings about the first guy started flooding back to me.

I know he doesn't like me that way, and I hate the longing to be with him all the time when I just... can't. (Long story)

Any ideas on how to get rid of the infatuation?

I am engaged to a wonderful man. He is the love of my life. When we first sarted dating our relatiionship was not stable. I wasn't attracted to him then. He wanted someone who was affectionate but I didn't kiss, hug or even hold his hands. Many times he has told me he loved me from the day he met me. But I was a different person then. Everytime I had an issue with him I would talk to my big sis, my mom & my best friend. I found out recently he talked to his parents, uncle, best friend & his co-workers too when he had an issue with me. But then one day I woke up & changed to be a better person. Now I am head over heals in love with him. I stopped discussing things with my sis. She didn't like him when she met him. He felt the same about her. My sis is my maid of honer & she was upset because first I picked my best friend to be the maid of honer. So I had to pick my sis as maid of honor. Last night I discussed things with her again & she doesn't like my fiance one bit. I am sad.

up on her threat and decided to teach her a lesson. I picked her up for lunch and took her directly to a hotel and did her all afternoon...I finally took her back to the office at 6pm so she could clock out and we could finish up at the hotel! She didn't have a job the next day...I had given her boss (my friend) the perfect reason to let her go, she didn't come back from lunch!!

To start this all off, she had threatened to not relay my messages to my friend unless I took her out for a great time...so this was just a form of getting even on my part.

Was I wrong?

Last night I tried calling my fiance. Couldnt reach him for a few hours. It was an emergency so I needed to reach him asap. I knew he would prob be at the coffee shop studying so I drove to the coffee shop and thought I would catch him there. No big deal.

When I pull into the parking lot and as im walking past a restaraunt right beside the coffee shop I see him sitting there having dinner with a woman.

So I walk in and confront him. Maybe I should have trusted him and not said anything and waited. But I couldnt help it.

Come to find out he met a bunch of people from work because they just closed a big deal and they were all having dinner and they ended up being the last two to leave. This girl was his intern. I am completely humiliated.

What would you women do? Would you believe him if hes never given you a reason to not trust before? I am so confused and hurt. I dont know what to think.

Okay so this guy that I am talking to came over the other night after work and we just hung out,watched TV, and talked for like 2 hours and then we were talking and hes like are you ready for the next step and i was like what step and hes like a relationship and i said yea im ready for one then like a few seconds pass and im like well what about you and he said i dont know....why ask if you dont know??? and then hes like i didnt expect you to say yea..and then he leans in for a kiss and im like uh i need to go make sure my straightner is off and then we just went back to holding hands on the couch i dont get it why would he ask and then be like "i dont know"...and he is the one who has been calling and asking to come over and saying he misses me but then hes like i dont know if i want a relationship....whats up with that?

Last year my boyfriend gave his ex-wife flowers for her birthday and jewlery for Christmas. It kind of bothered me. Today is her birthday and I think he may give her flowers again. Is that normal to bother me? She gave him a bottle of wine for his birthday, which I thought was practical and fine.

I met a guy at a party a fortnight ago and I have a date with him on Thursday :) We're going to see the Xmas lights being switched on in Oxford Street, London (his idea). I kinda have 2 questions, firstly, what should I wear? As i presume we'll go to a bar/for dinner afterwards but it's gonna be blimming cold outside on Thursday night.

Also, I've not really been on a "date" as such before. I was with my ex from the age of 17 through to 23 and we never really "dated" as such, we went to college together and lived near each other so never really had dates, we more "hung about" together. My second question is therefore, how can i stop being so nervous about it and what should i expect from it?! Should I just chill out, take it as it comes and do what feels natural?
