23 years ago met my future wife at the bus stop in the pouring rain. She offered to share her umbrella and we chatted . we would meet for weeks at that bus stop and eventually asked her out. we are still very happy together with 3 children after 19 years of marriage. finding that special person is lucky but if you are fortuneate, it is a great way to share your life.
ps dont cheat. it is virtually guaranteed that anyone you have a one night stand with, wont be a patch on what you already have.

I met that special someone at a hotel. No I don't mean a prostitute. This person was checking in as I was and I noticed what a beautiful person she appeared to be. Later I discovered that she was attending the same seminar that I was so I made sure that we had an opportunity to meet. It went on from there. We got each others numbers and even though we were in different cities we have kept a relationship going and we get a chance to meet about twice a month. Things are progressing but who knows where or how it will play out.

My parents have a great story... My mom is from Des Moines, IA and my dad is from Detroit, MI. When my dad was 29 he was living in California and he was driving back to MI to get his passport so he could go to Europe. His car broke down in Iowa and he got a job doing landscaping at this hotel to save some money to get it fixed and get back on the road. Well, my mom was 19 and worked there as a maid while she was in college and they met and started dating. Within 3 months they were married! 3 years later i was born and then 2 more after that they had my sister. They were married for almost 28 years when he passed away from cancer.

I love to tell people this story because it just goes to show that it doesn't matter where you're from, where you've been, or even where you're going, life isn't planned! Anything can happen!

I met my special someone on a local phone dating service. We have been together for 3 years now. I never called that service before and I was with a friend that does and we were bored and decided to go on and listen to all the funny people on there, and this awesome sounding guy left me a messege in my "mailbox" and after exchanging phone numbers we talked for 6 hours and had a date the next day and been together since! I always said it was fate that brought me to him. He said he would never have left a messege because I did not say I was plus sized. He likes big girls and I never knew a guy that did, so I didn't like to announce that feature. But I am glad we connected. He taught me a thing or two and I taught him plenty! I guess there is love out there for the plus sizes! :)

I met the love of my life 6 years ago in a completely RANDOM yahoo checkers game. We just spent all night talking about stuff like what kind of super power we would love to have. After a couple of emails, we started talking on instant messenger.... Then we started talking on the phone. We were friends for about 4 years before we started dating. Now he has moved to Chicago to be with me, I am the luckiest girl in the world!!

Nothing unusual. We met at my old job, hung out a couple times and I thought he was immature, obnoxious, not someone I could see myself with. A few months later he conveinced me to go to his house for dinner and now here we are two years later still together. I'm glad I gave him another chance. We are completely different...but perfect for each other.

I got two kittens from this old lady who's cat had a litter. I had them for 3 weeks and one started losing weight fast. I took him to the vet, he died that night.

That weekend (I lived in a party house at the time) we had a huge party for Walter, my dead kitten. It was "The Farewell Walter Party." Very inebriated, (beer pong champ, not to mention all Jack) I go outside to smoke and sit next to one of my friends. He was on the phone with this girl I had hung out with once before at one of our parties but nothing ever happened. I just thought she was really cool. She was in love with Paul McCartney and said the time before that I look like him. So my drunk friend asks her to talk to me and says that I look like John Lennon. We talk, I drive drunk to pick her up.

That night we went to some mountains to just talk and we have been inseperable ever since. We spent the next 6 mornings, noons, and nights together. I even called in to work 4 days in a row. It has been over a year now and we are currently living together. I fall in love more everday. She is amazing!

I met her online, yes. That is what I said. Destiny has no face,
so it does not matter how or where you meet. You will know by
that person's voice. Pay attention, if you can listen to them
talk all day, and it will sound like a lullaby, as if you were a
baby, listening to your favorite sound. It is awesome ! Try it.
