This is always your choice. Of course, it must be hard to choose, BUT it depends on who YOU will be happier with... who YOU like better. I don't think you have to think about anything if you like someone better... just know who you have stronger feelings for. You don't want to think that the grass is always greener on the other side. You want to be where there is the better guy, the one you can't live without! Good luck!!!

I guess you need to take a good look at the current relationship that you are in. Does he treat you good, is he loving, is he supportive and most important are you happy and do you love him. If you can answer all of the above with a yes then it would be a shame for you to try a new relationship just because of a long standing crush that you have had for another man. Just because you have had interest in him for awhile and can finally date him does not mean he will make you happy...it could be a fly by night relationship and then you have lost out on the one you have now. Is it really worth it? If you are not currently happy then I would say go for it but I would do some soul searching first. Good luck.

Whoever you choose, don't be unfair to the guy who has been committed to you for two years. If you decide to date the crush, you should break up with current BF first and give yourself a few weeks before going out with someone new.
Also, keep in mind that crush's don't always turn out to be what you think they are. We tend to build a crush up in our mind and then when they show an interest and we really get to know them, we are often disappointed. Just my 2 cents, but I hope it helps.

Trying something new and exciting is always fun. However, you risk losing the security and comfort of the relationship you're in. If you're even considering talking to the old time friend again, you've obviously made up your mind. I've been in a relationship for 2 years and if i got dumped for a lifelong friend, i'd be pretty pissed. Follow your heart.

Just make sure if you leave your guy that you really liked the older guy and that you STILL do. Dont go for him because you used to have a crush on him

Well how would you feel if you left this guy that you have been dating to date the other guy??? Maybe you could talk with you current boyfriend and let him know the situation. Date both of them. Is this other guy worth possibly ruining your relationship with your boyfriend?? Hard decision.
