Ok so here's the deal. I had a bit of an attitude yesterday, but I more or less got over it. Wasn't calling nonstop, infact he kept calling me. I was mad because I didn't believe where he said he was. I am very suspicious there was a cheating incident a few months back and he is still friends with her. He spends every night with me. I was actually surprised that he came over and then after me making and him eating dinner he got up and said he was going home. Made some lame excuse about not wanting me to have to get up at 5am as I usually do when he stays over. We fought a lot last night by phone. He says he left because he couldn't take the tension, which he knew would hurt me (the leaving part) We hung up on each other. I am just having trouble trusting him. I love him and I do believe he loves me. We have tried to work through things. Help?

1.Do you value friendships as much as relationships?

2.How much more or less?

3.Which is more enjoyable?or do both of them have the same allure,only in different aspects?

4.Which one is more longer lasting?(this is also,taking into consideration friendships between opposite sexes.)

5.In which one can you be yourself?just yourself...

6.Can two people of the opposite sex have a really strong friendship that comes as close to love,except for the romance part?(pls explain as to why)

I meet allot girls when I go out, and they are always really fun and friendly in the clubs. we have a great time dancing, chatting, and towards the end of the night maybe even a kiss. But a few days later when I call or txt to arrange to meet for a drink or coffee they seem stand-offish. Dont seem to make much effort to want to meet, seems like I have to do all the work. Are all girls this flakey?

ok, where do I start?! I have been seperated from my ex-hubby for 2 years, I am not in a relationship yet but have been on a date. My work requires me to go away for wk/ends sometimes and my ex refuses to have our 2 kids when i do. He wants to control my life and constantly accuses me of telling lies about what i do! I know it's nothing to do with him, but if i upset him he "hints" at suicide. I don't want to push him over the edge by denying him access to the kids, but he really is causing huge problems in my life! he says he can't deal with me moving on with my life and when he heard about my date he said he could no longer see me or the kids as it hurts too much. I really don't know what to do anymore, i have tried reasoning with him, talking to his parents, etc, nothing seems to work! I'm not sure if i should be taking his suicide references seriously, as he has made them for so long, i have taken it seriously in the past, but there seems to be nothing i can do about it! any help?!

I've always wondered why shy girls like outgoing guys and sometimes the other way around. Shy girls like don't talk at much at all so they barely have any attention. But the outgoing seem to have no problem at all. Talking and sharing things. Why are we attracted to the opposite personality?

Basically, i've got a cousin who's got a dilemna and doesn't know what to do about her friends:
She's been homeschooled all her life, and last year her parents tried to put her in a private school. She went, and made friend, but only staid a year because of financial problems. When she left, she wanted to stay in touch, but the friends stopped calling or emailing.
Lately however, she's been getting lot of phone calls from them, and she's admitted that her 'friends' were just claling to ask her to do their homework for them. She told me that she doesn't mind, because it's only english hw and it's quite easy for her (she's smart!) but she was really hurt that they only called for hw, she feels she's being used.
She's got a choice between these solutions:
1)Should she tell them right out 1 day on the phone that they've hurt her and explain why,
2)Ignore their calls and/or emails and simply cut off contacts like this
3)Should she go on pretending and stay friends even if she's hurt?

Until I burst,all the anger,pain hurt,betral came out.He was swearing me... We had a terrible fight. He left me,I tried to get him back coz I love him so much but all I got was a I dont care.So I gave up.. Started putting my life together then he came back,saying that he was testing me,what I would do if he left me.My heart went out to him I understood.So I took him back. Now we together,up til today he hasnt contacted me,I contact him only. Why does he do this,whats wrong? Does he really love me as he says? Why does he make me hurt so much? Whats wrong with him?

I've moved overseas from my boyfriend, and he's decided to not come with me as originally planned. He's broken up with me, but he comes accross with one day loving me, one day hating me.
I know that I need to move on from him, and I'm finding it quite difficult, even though we are so far apart.

I'm getting ill over this whole ordeal, and am frustrated with myself with being this wrapped up. I am thinking I should approach this like he's died. Grieve, and move on.
Part of me still hopes that it will work out someday... but this hope that I have is draining me from the rest of my goals in life.

It's so hard to move on. Does anyone have any encouraging words or advice for me?

My mother in law and I barely get along. It got really bad after the birth of my baby.Every week when we are visiting her, she tries to take over caring for the baby. I work hard not to let her but its a stressful visit.I think backing off should be easy for her since she already raised her 3 babies. I want her to let me raise mine even when I'm at her house. When visiting with her she will say things to hubby and I when we are dealing with the baby. For example, on the side line I'll hear her saying, put his blanket on, get his bib, wear are his shoes, etc.She even commented that his shoes were too big and his outfit was not warm enough. She told us we needed to get him a walker about 50 times. I want her to shut up.I say something back to her everytime she says something that offends me but she's not getting the message. I don't even want to be around her with the baby if she's going to act this way.
