How come teachers are poorly paid and hardly appreciated???? I work as a nursery teacher, and I´m standing alone with 20 toddlers (2 years-old) and only feel somewhat appreciated by 3 parents ..I know, I get a salary and they pay for their kid´s education...but I mean, come on, I take care of your kid 8 hours per day, from Monday till Friday..and what is more precious to you than your child????

My sisster natty is the best artist ever shes six years older then me, starting around 2nd grade i would sit on her bed and just wach her draw wishing i could do that. By 6th grade i won the year book cover picture. i have A.D.D. and had to give up my electivesin 7th grade for studdy halls, but in 8th grade after a year of begging my mom gave me an art class. I won lots of contest( 6 out of 7)in my class but in high school as a freshmen im not going to be able to take my class (A.P. drawing) unless i can inprove this summer i need a program in reno .

He answered me like this:(the question was where else besides Ebay I can sell)what does he mean?Friend EBay is where you can meet people that are interested in your stuff. Instead of selling the stuff, use the contact through EBay to get the people qualified as people that are interested in your stuff. Note the following example.

Fresh caught, battered CATFISH: Fresh caught catfish on a sizzling skillet.

The first four words are Hyperlink to your web-page. It opens up the the finest fishing equipment in the nation. At the bottom of the website the visitor can register for catfish to be sent to him/her. If the visitor is a fisherman, they may buy more equipment. If the visitor only want catfish- I have all my fisherman customers send them some for a fee. THEY DON'T have catfish where I live, and I don't fish, but I made $11,000 plus with this idea.

What is he trying to tell me hiperlinks?Heeeeeeeeeeeeeeeelp!!!!

Hi, I was wondering about how many hours a week an average teacher will spend outside of school working? Also, what makes you stay there and do you think it is worth it?

I am running out of ideas to keep my 4th grade class of 36 focused. I am having more-than-usual problems with blurting out/ interrupting and it is really starting to get to me. Nothing I've tried seems to work for more than a week. I'm desperate for ideas. Thanks in advance for your help.

I work for a district in New York that is ALL about the numbers! It doesn't matter how many kids take and fail the Advanced Placement exam... It just matters to them how many kids take the courses for some reason. The result is a bunch of ill-prepared, frustrated students taking a class that is develomentally inappropriate for them! What are your thoughts/ experiences?

I just wanted to take a pause and thank all you teachers for the jobs you are doing. That's it, unless you care to air your thoughts here, everyone who posts a reply is going to get a thumbs up from me. Consider this your free period.

I really want to get a California high school teaching credential (so much so that I've already taken the CBEST and am preparing for the CSET), but I can't quit my full-time job to go back to school. I just attended a teaching credential information meeting at the local college and they said it's impossible to get a credential while working full-time. Is there no way to do it with night or weekend classes? What if I could devote one weekday each week? Still impossible?

I'm taking a class on Instructional Design and while we have a U.S. History textbook to aid us in our project we cannot use the units directly from the book. The teacher wants us to "think outside of the box." I cannot come up with any other way to organize it other than chronological. Any ideas for how to divide and organize U.S History units would be appreciated.
