I have really started working part time english teacher in a school . I have no proper experience to teach. This is my first time to teach . I have a multilingual and multicultural class and age groups from 9-13 in one class. In my class the senior student is very quiet while the younger students are very talktive and intelligent 'SPARKS'. Now it is getting diffilcult for me to control the class. The students use 4 lettters words in the class "siht" Fcuk etc , The also call me by names and try to read other subjects in english class .they ingnore my requests and i dont know their regional language . So PLEASE I REALY NEED HELP
So please help me to do the class mangement. This job is very necessary for my family's survival. How can i control my class? How to make those SPARKS to control their mouth and The quiet 1 to speak? Wow, it sounds like you have lots of trouble. Unfortunately there's no easy answer; here are some tips that can help you:
*Talk with other teachers who have worked with this group and ask them for strategies. If it is the first time this group has been put together go over to more experienced teachers and ask for their help.
*Whichever strategy you use to control the class, keep it in a journal and write afterwards its effects on the class.

You need to establish yourself as the adult in control of the classroom. Set up a system of rewards for positive behavior. Punishment for bad behavior is rarely effective as it's only as strong as the enforcement. Find a common goal that your students can work toward and offer rewards for achieving it. Be sure to acknowledge positive behavior and ignore inappropiate comments as long as your students are safe. The more you ignore and continue to teach, the better the environment will be.
Remember that YOU establish the environment. Be sure to do it with care.
