We just got this new Biology teacher in the middle of the year. He is terrible. He is very inexperienced. He is asian which I have nothing against. Everyone's grade went way down since he came. No one has learned nothing new. When you ask for help, he says"I can't give you the answer"when the student was asking for help not the answer. He sometimes will not tell us what our home work is then the next day he asks if we did our homework. The tests he makes have nothing to do with the subject or anything in the book. He only gives us 5-minutes for something that he says takes 30-minutes. He even blocked the door during a fire drill and told everyone to go back to their seats. He has also called several black students the N word. He is not smart either. He mispelled day. He spelled it "daye". Just to let you know, that is not how they spell day in Asia. They use characters in Asia. What should I do with this teacher?

I just wish I could have been the lucky 14 year old when Ms. Jackson used to hug me all of the time. Maybe she was sending me a hint and I did not act on it. I am sorry I didn't because she was a drop dead gorgeous 40 year old woman. It would have been the ultimate and I would not have been damaged, I would been trained....LOL

erm...we are going to debate about "THE HOUSE BELIEVE THAT TEACHERS MUST STAY IN SCHOOL UNTIL THEY RETIRED" . acctually in my country the goverment are planning that the teachers are supposed to do the teaching job only it means that teachers do not have any chances to be promoted to other department such as the education director or else higher departmen.what is your opinion

Has anyone heard of the new 60-80-90 plan proposed by TEA, and what activities has your association decided to use to help support it? Do you think it will work? Why or why not?

Hello, I am a high school student and I have a few questions regarding the legality of some of the things my teachers do. If you know of any legislation/litigation that applies to some of my questions, I would greatly appreciate a link.

1. Can teachers test on things that they have not taught?
2. Can teachers have an inconsistent grading scale, ex. giving two students the same grade when there is a large difference in the amount of errors?
3. Can a teacher give quizzes and then allow students who did notes to use those to get full credit if they missed any on the quiz, thus having their grade reflect that they know as much as the person who got everything right?
4. Can a teacher put things on a test that one was absent for and make it one's job to get the notes from someone else, even if the rest of the class has inaccurate notes (does this responsibility not fall on the teacher)?
5. Can a teacher forbid a student to go to the bathroom, especially if it is a girl on her monthly?

your beauty shines bright
on a shiny day
or on this lightless night
Thinking about you I am dreaming away

When I first saw you
I knew I had found the one
My love for you instantly grew
And my life had finally begun

And the day when we apart
My long emotions for love betrayed me
I felt the sorrow with a broken heart
And my heart drifted away on a never ending sea

Now I know what love brings
True sadness and the heavy winds
