Take the other person or people out of the sentence and use whichever one would make sense. For example:

Paula and ____ went to the store.
Which sounds better: I went to the store, or me went to the store? I sounds better so you would use I (Paula and I went to the store).

Give the keys to Jaime and ________.
Give the keys to me or Give the keys to I
so the sentence would read: Give the keys to Jaime and me.
