Here is an unique idea - how about doing your classwork - it might be dangerous because its just possible you might learn something.

Are you bored because you know the subject matter for that day because you are a strong student...OR are you bored because you have no idea what the days' lesson is (and don't care)?
If you are in study hall, bring a book to read.Nowadays libraries have computers to help you find ANY book you might like to read.
If you are bored because you already know the material-how about talking to your guidance councilor and asking for a higher class level-then it will be a challenge..
If your NOT STUDYING, then you need to talk to your teacher to learn ways to study,so you don't feel all bogged down with homework.
Some people learn best by reading, some by taking notes and some bu\y just listening ....which are you? Talk to your teachers, please!!! LEARNING CAN BE EXCITING!!!

here is a win win answer....tell your parents or just go your self but get ahold of as many number 2 pencils as possible..part of the time you spend sharpening them.but try to split them up between classes(your teacher might get mad at all the sharpening) once you run out of pencils you can just mind numbingly sit and stare to the front of the room.every once inawhile take a pencil and fling it towards the ceiling.depending on the hieght you can fling it just right so they stick in the ceiling...see how many you can get per classroom

find a spot on the wall and focus on ur breathing. if you do it right, time will fly by really fast.
