India has the best system of education as compared with the rest of the world. This is why the educated elite all around the world are Indians. Though the system is slowly being changed with apparently a shift to the western system, computers and hypothetical considerations that education should be child focused primarily to enable the child to develop the thinking ability. I think this a strange shift. In my time we were taught by rote. Even to this date I know and remember all sonnets of Shakespeare I had learnt at school, all algebra and differential equations, the capitals of all countries in the world. We were made to mug up everything which has till today held me in good stead. I say the advantages in Indian education is that we have to mug up our lessons by heart. So we have at our fingertips the complete dictionary of knowledge at the outset. Using brains to remember is first which Indian education system ensures. Only next comes using brains solve. That is why Indians shine.

Do u think India is providing good educational system.... Exactly it is not. People here just mug the contents in the book and vomit it on the Exam papers. They r getting good marks but ppl who really understand it and if they write it on their own style , they r being called as story writers...Its a sad position of our Indian educational system , moreover we ppl always go only theoritical and no educational system in out country deal with practical affairs( i mean the real life theme) then how could it fit and fix knowledge to the beings???

It is a cruel irony that even after sixty years of Independence our educational system is in experimental stage. There seems to be no end for this. The politicians approach the educational system for gaining votes than improving the quality of education. As one studied under the old British Macaulay system, I feel I am fortunate than the present children.

In my opinion "Moral Education" must be included in our education system. What is the use of producing Scholars who have no moral principles and ethics? The Scholars might have knoledge but if they don't use their knowledge for the betterment of our country then what is the use? In other countries Ph. D. people run their states and manage their states.

I think that Indian education not good, it not focusing on skills of students.It simply wants high marks that's all, without having deep knowledge he/she can get good marks but that no use. study show that students in Private institutions are very week in subject even though they scored above 80%,a test test conducted to check this only 40% of student success,therefore i feel it is advantage to score well without knowing any thing

the indian education system is not at all good because they have made it so easy for the students. according to RTE act no child should be failed till he passes 9th. then what is the use of teaching till 10th?. simply the teachers should shout and go off.
