Read in English in the time you have left after grading papers. Keep attending classes to improve your learning in English. Travel in English speaking lands.
When you find you have mis-spelled a word, write it out at least ten times.
You can find lists of most commonly mis-spelled words, and practice making sentences with them.
By the way, you should capitalize English, not capitalize "ashamed" and "techniques" is spelled as I did. I think you meant "quite" good, not quiet. Practice spelling out all your words, not using chat speak as you did above. Write p-l-e-a-s-e. Stay in that habit until you have dominated spelling in English.
It won't hurt you to read an English dictionary from beginning to end. Also, you could read English translations of such books as the Koran, the Bhagavad-gita, the Upanishads, The Legend of Gil-gamesh, and other writings.
I wish I had a tutor to help me improve my spelling in Arabic or Farsi. Insh'Allah.

I feel for you! I teach physics, so at least I have an excuse for not being able to spell! I am a terrible speller, but I usually just blame that on the inconsistancies of the English language! Personally, I've found that having an in-line spell-checking program (that highlights incorrectly spelled words as you type them) helps improve my spelling, because it tells me right away that I've spelled a word wrong - otherwise I wouldn't even notice most of the time!
They say reading a lot helps, but I'm not sure about that. When we read, we don't really look at the individual letters in the word, we really process the entire word at once (most of the time).
I like doing crossword puzzles. You have to be sure to spell words correctly, or else you won't be able to solve the puzzle!

Reading is definitely the best way to learn how to spell. It doesn't really matter what you read because the most commonly used words and phrases are used in almost every type of writing.
Another thing I found helpful was actually typing a lot. When you use a program like Microsoft Word with the spelling errors shown you can go back and correct the word yourself versus the program corrected it for you. It's great practice to actually get your mind, your fingers, etc.,used to writing the words.

learn a sprint phonics. Phonics is the gadget that explains how the sounds of the language are mapped to the writing gadget of the language. Or, considering which you're in college, do all your assignments on the pc and use the spell checker. word, however, that the spell checker isn't foolproof. at times you will use a spelling that's no longer proper for the word you opt for for, yet remains a real word in English. Spell checkers at times won't mark those.

Ask any of your family members or friends to give you ten words everyday and on a rough page write those words and check yourself. This will really help you if you make a practise.you can also break up the word and try to pronounce those break up's and then write the words.you can also get a book of Antonyms and synonyms by Roget's thesaurus and try and find out the difference in the spelling between similar and opposite words.

Write down the words that you're unsure of, check them in the dictionary, and then make a list of the correct spellings. Then you just have to learn them. It's the same process as when you're teaching your students to spell.
