In California you can look up if a teahcer has a valid teaching credential--but if a teacher has been dismissed from a job by another school district--you won't be able to find that information out.

In Ontario you can find out if you have Professionally Speaking, in the blue pages. HOWEVER, the names are not there, so you would have to really know the situation, area, etc really well.
This information is not generally given out, but you can always try calling your local school board.

You would have to call the teacher certification board for your state. They are the ones with the control.

No. This is very confidential information and if it were to be made public the said teacher would become very wealthy.
