I had asked this question under "Jokes & Riddles" section just now and got one great answer I need more (it's a two days session) so I am asking it again to a different set of surfers...
Let me rephrase my question...
I need a few jokes and examples which I can quote during my workshop on Communications Skill and Team Building on 20th & 21st Dec.
Please give fresh jokes as far as possible. Examples/stories can be old.
Thanks...

A good friend got his Bachelor's in History a couple of years ago, and this semester acheived his credential to teach. So no more substitute teacher, he is now a full-fledged history teacher.
My question is, what to get him as a congrats gift.
I was thinking of a name plate, as he has mentioned it & doesn't have one.
What exactly would I put on it? " Mr. (first initial, last name ) " and that's it? or should I leave out the first initial and only last name? Also do I put his title, " History teacher " or leave it out?
Teachers out there, or friends and family of teachers, help me out with this please.
Also, throw at me any other ideas as a gift. Thanks in advance.

Our teacher's are allowing students to pass their classes when they can't even spell the basic words of our language.

Have you no pride in the product you are presenting to our society?

Spelling is just a simple example. Your students don't even know the difference between lose and loose!

Math, another example. You give your students homework, it gets corrected, usually by peers in class, then there is no follow up. The only students actually learning math are the one's with parents who correct the homework and identify failures to understand, then teach the material one-on-one.

What the hell have you done to the education of our children with all your politically correct touchy-feely BS about multicultural sensitivity to the students needs?

Why won't you teach our children well?

hi, I would like to teach courses on Visual C#.net, Visual Basic.net, Python and Phrogram. I have written some material myself, but I was wondering if there any resources or lesson plans availible so I could look at how I am teaching, what they teach, what order they teach stuff in, and some general guidance, do you know of any?

My English private teacher charges $70 per two hours. Her cancellation policy is 24 hours. In other words I am supposed to cancel at least 24 hours prior to our lesson. Lately I cancelled my lesson too late,12 hours prior to the lesson because of some health problems.
She wants me to pay 100% cancellation fee= $ 70.
Is it fair? How much can she ask me to pay?

Why do teachers assign group projects. One kid always ends up doing all the work. Do you ever think of the kids (like me) who may not have alot of friends and end up getting stuck with slackers
? Why do you do it?

When I hear a person use the word AKS in place of ASK, it really turns me off.
It really makes me wonder, why hasn't anyone tried to correct them? A S K , why is that so hard to pronounce?

I can't think of how she got a 125% in the class. and no that's not a typing error. She really got that grade. She even said that her teacher barely gives the class extra credit. What gives? She even get 100% on the only test they had so far. ((It's a Child Development class))
