Teaching Civil Rights through the lives of Athletes?

I am looking for resouces aimed at teaching civil rights and tolerance lessons by using the lives of athletes such as Muhammad Ali and Kareem Abdul-Jabar. If you know of any good books, please let me know.

Jackie robinson is a great one.You can use it to also help teach children how conflict is resolved without resorting to anger.
