Are you putting your name on these papers? Sometimes I get to the point where I'm tired of trying to match handwriting to students because their names aren't on the papers- so I trash them. Maybe that's what's happening here.

To actually answer your question though, no. We don't always have it out to get you. We don't care enough about you to try to "get you." Don't get me wrong, we love our students and want what's best for them. We don't, however, plot and scheme ways to avenge our last lesson when you fell asleep and left drool on the desk. We've got lives outside of school, and we've got too many nameless messy papers to worry about without thinking of ways to make your life miserable. You're not so great that your teacher cares to bother you like that.

Yea right. That's what they went to college all those years to learn to do. Pick on a bunch of snot nosed ingrate kids. You think teachers are bad wait till you get out in the real world and have to start fending for yourself. Good luck with that.

You don't say how old you are, or what personal eperience you had that would make you ask the question, but in my experience maybe 1 or 2 percent would fall into that category. Maybe you need to take a long, hard look at your study habits and your attitude.

I'm pretty sure it feels like it at times, but I dont think so. I believe that alot of teachers get on certain students because they feel that they are capable of doing more. This teacher might have high hopes for you, and feels as if you're not putting your all into it. Never know!!

It may seem that way to some students, and, I admit, some teachers may be mean, but how would you feel teaching a bunch of kids for 9 months out of the year for little pay?

No. Technically speaking, I am no longer an "us." However, I was once part of "us."

Teachers are there to instruct you and to teach you things you need to learn ... some of the things you learn, you might never need, other things you learn will be used daily.

I always give my students a receipt for their work. They fill it out and I simply initial it. It's not difficult and it solves all these problems. Why don't you suggest it to your teacher?

Think of it this way, they're teaching you ways of survival in the big bad world, where you could come across such types of people, then how will you deal with them ?

No, they don't. Usually they want to help. Sometimes if it seems like they are out to get you it probably means that they think you can do better and they are trying to get you to take your school work more seriously.
