Maths is a subject to be learnt only by working out the problems.
Unlike other subjects, U need to be clear with the formulae and methods to be followed to solve the problems.
Sometimes the methods of solving the problems will seem to be easier while seeing but while working it out it becomes difficult.
Working out the problems consume time.
So, teachers are insisting to spend more time in it.
