I must declare my major at school and am really torn between a sure thing job wise and doing something else. I have picked Geography as a sure thing (I already have a job offer in that field) but I also love English, History and Anthropology, all of which have no real prospects in the real world. Should I go for the sure thing (even though it is somewhat boring) or go out on a limb and go for English major? I must be able to get a decent job right after college though as I am a single parent and only source of income.

I'm in my first year of community college and i was wondering if i could still become a doctor. I slacked off during high school, and it just hit me that i need to start my life. What are the steps to getting into medical school? What classes should i take pre-medical school? Any information would help. Thank you.

I have failed Pre-Calculus but its the only class I've done poorly in my entire high school career. I take AP and honors classes, participate in clubs and am involved in the community. What di you think?

I checked the site where the profs post our final grades and for one of my classes it listed my grade as a MG, missing grade. I don't understand what that means. I took both of the exams, I took the quizzes and the final. I just emailed him asking him for an explanation. I'm so worried now, I don't get it. Unless I didn't put my name on the final or something? But i did do that, I even signed in on the sign up sheet. I'm so worried!!!!! Has this happened to anyone else? I don't even know what it means.

Hi,

I have an Associates in Information Technology and a job I love, however I've been seeing a lot of people look down on me just because I "only" have a 2 year degree. I got my degree from a really good local tech school, it was really expensive and I worked VERY hard for that degree and like I said I have a job i love now. Why should spend more money and more time just so I can have a "real" degree?

My GPA in grade 9 was bad (but I did pass all my courses) and for first semester of grade 10 my GPA is just average, so I've been doing a lot of studying and I'm going to try and bring it up with my exams.Next semester I have English, business, civics and math, so I'm hoping to improve my GPA next semester even more.

Even if I do improve, is it still too late for college because I did so bad in grade 9 and first half of 10?

I took four classes this semester and I think I failed like 2 or maybe 3 of them not sure. I am planning on taking the Spring and Summer classes as well to pull it up. What should I do if I decide to retake the classes that I failed as well as take the other classes that I need in Summer and Spring as well? Will it maybe boost it up a little? Thanks.
