I'm an undergraduate at a competitive state school. My major is political science and I currently have a GPA of 3.89. I recently found out that my school has given me sophomore status(I just enrolled Fall 2007) due to my AP test scores from highschool. Bascially, I currently have enough credits to graduate with a BA in 3 years. I am leaning towards taking this option rather than double majoring (would take 4 years) because it would save me a lot of money. However, I am interested in going to law school, and I want to know if this would have any effect, positive or negative, on how attractive I would be as a candidate for a top law school. Obviously I will try my best to keep my grades up and I am saving up for an LSAT prep course as I'm typing this. Just wondering if its worth the money to double major and go all four years, or just graduate in 3 and look at law schools sooner.

I'm due 2/24/08. I'm in school full time for Spring. I'm due right before spring break so having to miss 1 week is no big deal. I do not work at all. I'll be going to class in the evening when my husband is home and 2 distance learning classes. I need the financial aid/loans (it replaced my job) so taking a semester off is not an option. Just looking for feedback, hopefully positive.

Well my colleges that i want to get into BADLY are:
1. Duke university
2. Johns Hopkins
3. MIT
4. Brown University
My stats..eh not so good. I have a 3.4 GPA Unweighted and a 5.1 weighted. Unfortuantley I have 2 D'S(eh i know) and 2 C's the D's are in history and the C's in english and history. I am majoring in Biology. I have mixed A's and B's...
I got 2120 on my SAT 34 on the ACT. 740 on SAT Biology and 760 on SAT Math Level II.
I am a researcher at Moffitt(it's a cancer hospital/research facility) conducting my project that I am entering in my school's science fair and also Intel STS and ISEF(i hope i get in!!)
I have a fairly strong science background as I've participated in science summer programs and whatnot.
How much will my D's and C's and B's....lol hurt me? What are my chances of getting in to each school?

W have to do an evaluation at the end of term for college.I gave some really good comments to all but one who I marked down and said it was poor and inconsequential and irrelevant.I feel I was harsh but it was annoymous.Today the prof remarked about a very negative evaluation and would the person like to contribute ant further.I said nothing there are about 50 in the class.Should I explain my reasons,I feel they were justified at the time I wrote them but inretrospect were somewhat harsh.
