A bachelor's. You then would go on for a second degree if you wanted to get a master's. I somewhat disagree with what the others have said. When someone says they are a college graduate, they don't mean that they have an associate's or a master's degree, it is a bachelor's. And most schools don't have graduation ceremonies for the associates. You go only with a bachelor's or higher.

It depends. If you are going to school for undergraduate education and you graduate (traditionally 4 years), you have earned a bachelor's degree. The next step is a master's degree (at the graduate level), which is traditionally completed in 2 years after the bachelor's degree. Take it a step even further (an additional 2 years) and you will earn a PhD, or doctorate degree.

After high school, you go to college where you can earn a 2 year degree which is an associates degree, a 4 year degree which is a bachelor's degree. When you have graduated with bachelors degree, you can go to post graduate school and earn a Master's degree and from there a Doctorate, Phd.

Depends on what you went to school for. You would have to graduate with a bachelors first in order to go into a masters program and graduate with a masters degree UNLESS you go into dual degree programs in which you can get a bachelors and masters at the same time......normally those programs take more or less 5 years.

Any time you are granted a degree, you graduate.

If you go to a community college, you can graduate with an associates degree.

A Bachelor's degree is a four year degree. You graduate when you get one.

You generally need a bachelor's degree before you can enter a master's program or a doctoral program. When you complete those programs, you can graduate again.

What degree were you working toward? A 2 year degree is an Associates Degree, a 4-year degree is a Bachelor's, then Master's, then Doctorate.

Once you graduate (verb), you are called a graduate (noun). (spelled the same, emphasis is different).

A graduate student is some who is working on a degree or certificate above the bachelor's level.

Depending on how the word is pronounced, it has two different meanings. One is a verb - the other a noun.

When you graduate (verb), you have completed some academic program and it really doesn't matter what level. After you graduate (verb) from any academic program, you are a graduate (noun) but a graduate student (noun) is a certain level.
