1. keep ur GPA in good standards (3.2 - 3.8).

2. If u wish to take a course @ a community college (C.C), at this point, take it but if not don't stress it. U can take a class during the summer or in the winter.

3. The are 3 options to attend UCB
a. After high school or
b. Attend C.C. after high school for 2 or 3 yrs.
depending the units that u will take.
c. Attend any CSU and then apply to UCB.
This is just optinal and complicated.

I would recommend options (a) and (b).

4. If u choose to take a course at a CC during high school speak to a college counselor or a high school career college counselor to guide u.

5. U can attend any CSU system after high school and then attend UCB to pursuit a Masters or Ph.d

My last comment apply to UCB after high school. If accepted then attend , if not, there are many ways to attend UCB. Just keep ur hopes up and have a 2nd option just in case.

The University of California at Berkeley is an outstanding school and offers both bachelors degrees and graduate degrees. While they are probably best known for their graduate programs, for which you would need a bachelor's degree first, it IS possible to go there right out of high school.

UC-Berkeley has undergraduate (bachelor's) degrees so you can start right after high school, provided you're admitted. Good GPA... meaning I hope it's somewhere around a 4.0 because the school is ridiculously hard to get into. They have both undergraduate and graduate programs in computer science.

Try to apply, you never know, but if they say you need to go to a community college then just do that for 1 or 2 years, save money...then re-apply. Thats how it normally works, unless your rich or have a 5.0 GPA
