a binder and pencil case like high school? or does everyone take running notes on a laptop?

I hope to soon be working as a private investigator in Toronto Ontario. Therefore you can assume I'm Canadian.

Does anyone know what the average salary is for a P.I in Ontario, and how quickly can I rise up the ranks to earn a higher salary?

I have a disability and cannot walk or stand for long peroids of time upper body okay so I can use the computer and my brain is it worth it to go back to school.

I want to get my master's and have been accepted to 2 different colleges. One is less expensive, by $200 per credit, and it's closer to my home. However the director, advisors and professors are not very accessible. I'm not sure I'll get as good an education, and if I have a problem, I'm not sure if I'll be able to contact a professor.

The other college is more expensive, but the professors are much more accessible and interested in making sure the students succeed. I feel like I'll get a better education and be better prepared to venture in the field at this more expensive school. However I already have some debt, and this will put me even further in debt.

Which one would you choose?

I recently left high school due to recommendations from my graduation coach and now, being that I'm close to getting my G.E.D., I'd like to plan for my future afterwards, which is to be accepted into a college here in Georgia. Costs are ridiculous and I need help finding small scholarships to pay for it. I once heard on TV about this girl who went for many tiny scholarships at a time and over the coarse of like a year or two, she piled up a total of $100,000 to pay for school in scholarships. Where can I find small scholarships like this where I can pay for college, but with only a G.E.D.?

i have 2 more suny school and 5 more cuny school and i want to send my sat score. i already use the 4 fee waived sat score sent on my college board. can i ask my counselor to sent in my sat score to the rest of the school that i am applying. i don't want to paid the 9.50 on the college board to sent the score to the school's. does the colleges that i am applying need the official sat score from collegeboard or can my counselor send it to the schools.

ok im in hs and i have a gpa of about 3.6, 2 honors and will take ap calc nex yr. i have 5 yrs of sciences (3 regents) 2 math rengents and all the other ones and i guess ill have a an sat of about 1800. i was wondering since i have no idea of a carrer. should i just goto a college and figure it out there, or is that not a good idea? whats a good college. like stony brook or nyu normal prgram. im so confused what if out of no where i decide i want to be a lawyer or docotor or something will it be too late? im so confused and scared. are my grades decent?

I realize college is important and that getting a good education is paramount in life, but I just want to be a beutician. Im ranked 5th in my class, have never gotten below a B on a report card, and have gotten a total of 40,000 dollars in scholarships so I know she will be uber dissapointed. She has looked foreward to my attending the same college she did all my life. How can I do that to her? How can I break her heart?

I took a class with him this semester just for credit, and ended up loving the subject. I feel in love with the subject and got a 100% grade in the class. He made it so intresting and I want to consider majoring in it. I want to take the other classes with him too becuase he makes it so simple, fun and rewarding. Plus I heard the other teachers are lame-o. I want to tell him that becuase of him I am considering changing my major becuase he inspired me.
BUT, he is hot, and I don't want him to think I am stalking him, or doing this for his attention. I am not far along at all in my other major. So how do I do this?

My time is limited away from home so an online course would be best suited for me. I was thinking of doing something with Pharmacy technician or Vet Tech. Is it worthy of spending the money on these online programs? Will it help you secure a job or do most places train on the job? Kaplan U has contacted me on Pharmacy Tech. Any opinions out there? What are some of the best online schools? Thanks!

Anyone in the admissions department for any UC school? I graduated from the UC system many many years ago so I am out of touch with the current minimum standards for entry. I am trying to write a letter of recommendation for my niece but I am not sure if she will be able to get in. She has a 3.45 GPA and a SAT score of 1040. I am afraid that this is not good enough but I do not want to spoil her excitement. Also I don't want to misrepresent her true academic accomplishments with misleading data. Any suggestions so that her application looks more attractive to admissions?

I just finished my first semester at a community college and am planning to take one more semester, then transfer out of state in the fall. I will enter as a sophomore. Can this be done, or do I have to stay at the community college for 2 years? Upon applying I will have completed 14 units and working on 12 units.
