I have failed Pre-Calculus but its the only class I've done poorly in my entire high school career. I take AP and honors classes, participate in clubs and am involved in the community. What di you think?

I think it depends on your major. Trinity is very pricey. It's a smaller private university and very respected.

You might want to take a good look at UTSA, but I don't think failing pre-calculus would keep you out. If you need that level of math you can always take a make-up class.

Talk to your guidance counselor.

Talk to an admissions officer at both schools. They can give you valuable advice that you can't get anywhere else.
