I'm 20, I go to college, will be sophmore next year and go to university at city. I very care about good grades and also to make there connections. Currently I commute 30 miles which by train takes 1h-1h 30. I was willing to move out, get on campus housing, in May when it was pretty early. I told my mother about this and also older (30) sister when she was vising us. My father is often away from home bc he is truck driver. My sister convinced me to not take additional loan on housing and better to still save next year. So I agreed. But recently she moved in with 2 loud children. Our apartment is small and walls thin. I think now I got good reason to move out to get better of with college. So I sumbitted and then received by mail confirmation for waitlist. They saw that and now are upset that did not tell. I explained them that I wanna have good grades and get more involced in campus like community service with fraternity, on-campus job. If I get on-campus job then I can pay interest

Can someone old, say in their seventies, get fully funded to see them through university for a degree in the Arts.
Bearing in mind that they may be too old to put it to good use by the time they achieve their goal.
Answers from USA and UK would be appreciated.

Was it really as simple as Oswald...one man who acted alone?
Or was there some big conspiracy?

I once heard that the only way 3 people can keep a secret is if 2 of them are dead. So can a big conspiracy really exist where everyone kept quiet and no one stepped forward?

I found an 8th edition of a book I need for one of my classes for only .30cents, but the text book we are supposed to be using is a ninth edition which costs $85 something. Do you think it'd be alright for me to use the 8th edition... or would it really make things harder for me, since the instructor is teaching out of the 9th?

I'm a college JUNIOR who has no idea what to do

I have tested every major under the sun. I have gone from a History, Physiology, Psychology, Nursing, Premed, PrePharm, CIS/CS, Math, English..

I couldn't find anything that I wanted to do with those, so my folks said major in Business Management and that can open doors for me. I just don't want to be a lummy working for a company to increase sales (IE Blockbuster, Chili's, Etc).

I'd like to use my creativity and mind. I have always aspired to be some sort of teacher but with no subject or topic.

I feel like I've failed because my GPA isn't perfect (3.5) and I don't have a major.

Where do I turn? I've been to college assessment assistants and what not and career profile books.

What else is out there?

here's the deal. My ex roomates have decided to dorm together. I feel wierd about it, if only because I spent freshman year with one and then sophomore year with the other, and now my junior year they are both rooming. I dont really know if we get along that well, but we are polite.

I left my university and when I came back I was told I may not get housing. Now a space is available and I'm wondering if I should bother to live close to these two. ONE of them has a major social network and alot of my first's ( first party, first holloween, first random night out, social excursions, etc) was with this girl (and some of her friends). Im thankful.

I also have other friends who live on the campus and who know me and treat me nicely. Sadly, our lives take diffrent turns but when I am around them I feel diffrent, it's more than just being polite, I feel connected.

I can choose. Should I live near the ex-roomie's or my other friends?

thanks!
