If you fail work in the 3rd year semester two and dont want to do the resits, can you go back the following september and take up new modules?

I cant seem to find any information about this on my university website.

Credits you gain for completion of modules are as it suggests modular. You require 120 points per year to gain a degree in 3 years these are respectively at levels 1, 2 and three. You could consider summer and/or easter university courses to make up some losses however there are some elements that must be taken during a course of study this is dependent on what you failed etc.

Speak with an accademic that has delivered on your course to discuss your options. One thing is for sure you wont lose credits gained so far in the space of a year.

This would depend entirely on your university's regulations. Some don't allow it, some do. You will need to get a copy of the relevant regulations. It may help if you speak to a student welfare officer employed by the University or the student union to help you to interpret them and give advice.
