Fairfield U is my favorite college i've visited so far, but i was wondering(cause i know its really close to the beach) how the waves are around there? i'm a total surfer, and being near a beach that gets waves every now and than is important. so whats the deaL? what beaches around there are good for surfing?

It's a great school, but it is in Connecticut, not Hawaii! I can't imagine that anyone there is into surfing. You'll either have to stay in California or Hawaii for school, or save the surfing for vacations and pick up some new sports.

if you go there....... check out the Thimble Islands off the coast near the city of Stoney Creek, CT you can catch some waves there, but they are nothing compared to Pacific waves. About the best your going to get up north.
