i want to know what type of companies recruit mech enggs and stuff like that.i have to attend my counseeling,and so need help

Right now, mechanical engineers are desparately needed in transportation and energy. With the U.S.'s energy grid and airline systems on their last leg, states are battling to find people to come in and revamp the systems so blackouts can be dealt with in metro areas as well as airlines can cut down on cancellations and equipment failure. Transportation....check into it.

The main industries are... steel plants, manufacturers of SPMs, automatic production plants, rigs, jigs and fixtures, oil exploration & drilling... etc...
in addition...mechanical engineers are employed in almost all the industries and technical offices...
if this qualification is accompanied with MBA then that would be a very strong portfolio... for employment in managerial cader in almost any industry...

Automobile, Fabrication, Aviation, Nuclear and Thermal Power, Oil and Gas, Ship building,....and of course IT companies!
