Can someone old, say in their seventies, get fully funded to see them through university for a degree in the Arts.
Bearing in mind that they may be too old to put it to good use by the time they achieve their goal.
Answers from USA and UK would be appreciated.

That is a good question. If I am thinking correctly, it would be discriminatory to disallow anyone to persue an education and apply for assistance because of age. Therefore, I would venture to say that even someone in their 70's who wanted to complete college should have that opportunity. I hope so anyway - because I am still going (at 54) and I don't plan to quit until I get my Doctorate!
