I am beginning my college life for the first time and wondering what do I have to do now, so in the future, when I decided to apply to any med school, I will surely be accepted? I am a freshman, and just heard about internships. What is this "internship" thing? Is this needed. I also took nursing courses in high school. Someone please tell me so I can take care of it now, so it will benefit me in the future. Also, what about MCAT?

i know that they kinda go hand and hand and you can get a degree in one of them and go into the other but which is better, and how hard is a accounting degree since i know finance is a little easier, i already took financial and managerial accounting and did ok in them but not very good, i got a B and C respectively

I'm 19, will be 20 next march. I did not sign up for college because I didn't have the money, and I didn't know what I wanted to do with my life. I work for Food Lion in a rural community, and I know in my heart that working for Food Lion isn't for me. Some of the people at my job said college was unnecessary. I feel like I really missed out, and most of the people I went to high school with are already starting their second year. I know I need to go to college; it has always been something I wanted to do. What would I have to do get into a good school? Can I start over and take the SAT like everyone else? I just want to feel fulfilled because this is always on my mind. Thanks a lot.

Hi all. I'm just wondering how one would become a doctor in America. I'm studying in Europe but I just missed out in a medical course in my own country. One of my teachers suggested that I try America as it isn't as difficult to obtain a place at University as there are a number of colleges that offer medicine as opposed to my own country where there are only three.

Basically I want to know what happens after High School in relation to the career....

Thanks for your help which is grately appreciated!

I have to write journal entries for various transactions. But there are a couple that I don't get. The business is family owned 50% by the father and 25% each by his two children. Transaction A: Party Doers Inc. has a decided to sell its land and building to one of the real estate investors. The selling price is $146,000. Party Doers Inc. is not moving. It will continue to do business out of its current location and rent the space out from the new owner in 2008 and beyond. The store fixtures are not being sold. The building has an original cost of $80,000. Transaction B: Party Doers Inc. will use $60,000 of the proceeds of the land and building sale to pay off its notes payable balance. I need journal entries for both transactions.

So far, UofH has good scholarships and it has the assured acceptance program. Besides it's bad rep for quality of education I don't see why UT Austin would be better.

I am moving to Philadelphia soon and the problem is I do not know what I need to do in order for me to pursue a career in pharmacy, eg what qualifications etc. Please could someone advice me the best route?
