Leisure and Sports Management Internships?

Question

I am a Leisure and Sports Management major with minors in exercise science, coaching, and business...and I am going into my junior year and I was to to do and internship this summer and next fall...but I don't have any ideas...I want to work with student athletes in a college setting but they don't have any internships for that

anyone have any ideas of what I could do?

I live in SC, go to school in NC and have family in MA, and CT...so any of those states will work!

With no idea of where you are located, I'll assume it is in the U.S. Check out the following website. Look at the various leagues, teams, etc. down the left-hand margin, then click on "internships" within each one. I have hooked up a number of students with sports internships that way:

There are also a couple of books which either your school library or your Career Center may have. One is the Sports Market Place Directory, which is published by Grey House Publishing. I know there is another one that I don't personally have which is the equivalent. They have contact information for just about every sports organization, at every level, in the U.S.
