I'm doing it because I've no idea what I want to study in college, and it could help me out with fees and stuff when I actually do go to college. But the one thing that I'm worried most is that I'll probably forget what I learned in high school, and thus not get accepted in college.

Does every college have entrance exams? What programs do?

Okay, so everybody is saying college is one big party. But are the classes hard also? I mean even in your basic 101 classes is it an insane workload? If so, when do people get all this time to party without tanking courses?

I'm in college and i'm double majoring in Nursing and Theather. After I'm done with my Majors what should be my next step to become a pediatrician? I want to make sure I have my bachelors in Nursing in case I don't make it through med school I have something to fall back on. Did I make a right desicion in that? And I have had dreams of being a famous actress but that doesn't pay the bills in case I don't make it at that either but that isn't my concern right now I just want to plan out everything and map out everything correctly so that I have a chance at everything and there are no WHAT IFS. you know? So What should I do when i'm finished with my majors step by step to become a pediatrician?

I am currently working full-time and would like to earn my undergraduate degree online from a reputable institution. My goal is to eventually take a break from work and relocate in order to get my master's/doctorate from an Ivy League/Top 10 school. Would it be feasible for me to get into one of these schools with an online degree? Can anyone recommend some good schools that offer online degrees that would look good when I apply for graduate school?

Im starting college beginning this fall and am extremely confused. Please help me by answering these questions!

1. Im taking four classes and got the e-mail for three of my teachers. Should I contact them to ask about what books I need/ don't need and which to buy?

2. Some books for classes are optional. Should I buy these books?

3. One class I'm taking is taught by the staff apparently, so I can't contact a specific teacher about what books I need. What should I do?

4. If I buy books online, is it possible for me to sell them back to my college book store?

5. Will dropping a class be recorded on my transcript? Will this have a negative consequence?

6. College is soo confusing! Will I ever get used to buying text books, picking classes, studying, etc??

My daughter is 15 years old and she is really doing well in High School. She is taking all the AP courses. I have bought her a laptop and the programs that prepare to take the ACT.
My question is what extra materials can I get her to help her prepare for success in getting into a top University?

I don't understand the point of it. It seems like you buy your friends and i have heard the stories of how they initiate you and haze. I am an army rotc cadet and have made life long friends in our battalion and we don't even get hazed. They also pay for everything. I don't understand the point of hazing. How does hitting people make them more acceptable and how does degrading them make you feel?

I have it narrowed down to 3 schools.
1- Weber state, it is near my home and realtivly inexpensive. I am familiar with the town and I will know the people who go there. I might get a partial-full scholarship. I could live at home if I needed to.
2- Snow college, a little community college I'd go to for my associates. Least expensive in the state and a nice college. I won't know anyone. I could deffinlty get a (at least a partial) scholarship here. After this I would likely choose a really expensive school for the rest of my degree. (save to splurge)
3- University of Utah, this allows me to change my mind, big beautiful school. Most expensive here (I would deffintly have to take out a few student loans for this school) And it is the one school that me and my closest friend agree on. I love the idea of dorming with her.

I am planning on paying for this myself, I am a good student, and I want the best education I can. All these school teach Computer Science my current selected major
