If I take a non-credit course next semester, will any other institutions be able to see that I completed the course, or will I have to treat it like an extra-curricular event and save it for my resume?

I'm going on my second year in college. I attended a prestigious school with a good reputation however the experience was not fun for me. I didnt really enjoy my freshmen year and I felt alone even though I was involved on campus. I visited my friend at her school and I loved it. I loved the people, the environment, and it just seemed like they really enjoyed it there. So I visited again and again and even stayed while she was in classes and I felt AT HOME. Although only knowing five people there I didnt feel lonely. I was comfortable.

Now I'm considering transferring. I've already been accepted, but I dont know if I should go. The second school does not have as good of a reputation as the school I attend does. When I tell people where I go they are impressed and that makes me feel good...but is that enough? My parents tell me they dont care where I go as long as I am in school, but I kind of feel like I'm letting them down.

What would count for academic achievements for entry into a university that requires some sort of evidence of academic achievements?

Does anyone have any ideas? Not only awards, but anything else? Besides GPA, etc, what else?

I've heard that you really raise your chances of getting into one of those Ivy League schools if you have connections. So I do go about getting these connections?

I know, I know, I've asked this before, but the responses were pretty few. So I'm asking again. If you have a Bachelor's degree tell me about it. What is it for? Where did you go to college? What are you doing now? And what is your salary? Thanks.

I am about to be a senior. In my sophomore year, I took:

1. All honor classes (except for Math, I was in Algebra 2)
2. All of my grades were above 93
3. My job was to help the elderly in a nursery home
4. I took basketball, as well as tennis
5. I took guitar lessons

My junior and freshmen year was similar to the sophomore year.

Would I get accepted. Give me some advice if not?

I'm a college student but since I spent so much time in class I haven't been able to work. However, this year my bills are piling up, I need a job ASAP. However, I lack experience and I have few references. Are there any ways for me to find work (I live in NYC)?

I know a guy who has a Bachelor's in History and he works at the mall and says he cannot find a job. I know a guy who has an Associate's in Computers and the only job he could find was two towns away and he couldn't afford the move so he works at Target. I want to go to college but I am scared I will spend all my money and still be in the same place I am in. I am more interested in liberal arts which I hear makes it harder to find employment.

I want to know if doing a pre-dentistry course and becoming a dentist is much easier or becoming a docotr doing a pre-med is easier??

Whose life is less stressful and who has a better life regarding all aspect? Which course has better prospect?

One more silly question, is can dentist write DR in front of their names like the doctor? eg Can dentist James Harding write Dr James Harding??

I have this interesting friend who takes lots of drugs. He had to take the GRE's and said, basically that the test was so boring he was going to take LSD and heroin just to get through it without being bored to death. He did, and he got a perfect score (1600); now he just got a full fellowship to go for a Ph.D. in mathematics at one of the top universities in the country. Is it anybody's business in grad school if he takes drugs, as long as he does well and isn't into dealing drugs?
