I have finished my A-Levels from the UK and am now preparing for pre-medical / pre-dental pragramme in the USA.

I want to know if doing a pre-dentistry course and becoming a dentist is much easier or becoming a docotr doing a pre-med is easier??

Whose life is less stressful and who has a better life regarding all aspect? Which course has better prospect?

One more silly question, is can dentist write DR in front of their names like the doctor? eg Can dentist James Harding write Dr James Harding??

Thanks

Dentists can and do write doctor in front of their name. Most people think of dentistry as less stressful, but whether that's actually true or not is up in the air. I would think it works out to be about even since many dentists also have to deal with the stress of solo practice.

I'm thinking dentistry would be easier, less stressful. They're not usually dealing with life and death issues.
And my dentist does use Dr. in front of her name.
