im in year 8 and im just wondering how long each day i should study whether i have homework or not. i just wanna become smarter.

That's very admirable for someone at your age. If you have time after you are finished with homework, I would advise that you spend at least another hour per day reading serious books which are not required for school. The more you read, the more you know. Also, you might want to pick a subject matter every year and decide to become an expert on it. Not only will you learn about that subject, but you will develop research skills, which will be very helpful later on in college. It doesn't matter whether the subject matter is a country, the history of your town, a species of animal, or a type of music. Then, instead of worrying about how much time to spend studying, you can spend as much time as you think you need to learn about whatever your subject matter is.

you should study 3-6 hours a day, depending on your subjects, for me when i was at school i use to study an average of 4 hours, the important thing is your grads, if studying 3 hour does not do it, then study more..

I didn't really study(I still don't)I say an hour on one subject .everyday u should study one subject for an hour.take a break on the weekends

At least 2 hours but i got A all time (uhh...not all the subjects!)...
