The study of Philosophy is an excellent idea. Who wouldn't want to be taught how to think critically, write well and express thoughts clearly?

I have an undergraduate degree in mathematics, have done all the coursework for a PhD in Math (but none of the research), have an MBA and a PhD in finance. But the four undergraduate classes in philosophy and the 11 graduate courses in philosophy that I took are the real basis of my education.

i think it is one of the fields they recommend. I'm a psych major and the school says you should pick related minors like sociology, philosophy etc.. if you are interested in it, do it.
