Okay, so everybody is saying college is one big party. But are the classes hard also? I mean even in your basic 101 classes is it an insane workload? If so, when do people get all this time to party without tanking courses?

If you can't handle it then maybe college is not for you. It's called time management and you will learn it in college or you will flunk out.

I worked hard in college and I played hard in college. If you don't procrastinate and manage your time well then you will have ample time to party like a rockstar.

Of course there are parties, but you need to know when to stop partying if you want to do well in school. How hard it is will depend on which school and which major you choose, but there are very few schools at which the average person can party constantly and do well (yes, everyone has an anecdotal example of someone who did this, but it is not true for most people).

It depends what you are taking, but that's why there is a requirements in order to get into certain classes in college and university. No matter what you take, you'll have to take college math, and college english. I've had teachers who pile on the homework everyday. Other's disagree with homework, and don't give you any. Other's give you pop quizzes out of the blue too. If you are thinking of going to a college, pick the program you'd like to take, and look for the pre-requisites/requirements.

Its really all about time management. Many students will struggle with this their first semester in college trying to balance everything. Yeah it may be fun to party but you have to remember that you are going to college to get an education. The intro classes are pretty easy. Its when you start to get into the 300+ level courses that they become very difficult.

Wow. College is fun for me. I get to work out in the gym there, swim, eat and even party on thursdays. I took Math, psych, eng, movie and liberal arts all in one semster totaling about 15 credits. My first semster was great and i'm looking forward to the challenges in biology and calculus in my second semster. Plus i will be working part time; 5hrs a day. If you want to find time to party, just schedule your time right and devote alot of time to studying. Partying is my 3rd priority since it helps me socialize a little out of the classroom and place of employment. I did got through my first semster with a 3.2 GPA, not Great but i could do better.

It depends on the classes and your interests.
