last spring and fall semester i made it to the dean's list.. but i donno what use is it of.. i'm sofmore in college.. will this be of any use in the future.

It basically says that you did well academically, and is a line you can put on your resume.

Making the Dean's List means that your GPA for the semester was a 3.5 or better (that is what the standards are at my school, anyway). Dean's List acknowledges your hard work. When you graduate and list it on your resume, it will make your more marketable because it shows that you have good work ethic.

It's an acknowledgment of your hard work for the semester. It can come in handy when you first graduate and are looking for a job or if you are going to grad school. But after you get your first job, it's all about how well you do on the job. Grades go out the window.

You can put it on your (spell-checked) resume, impress your parents, and get scholarships for being on the Dean's List. Don't knock it. But I know you are just fishing for compliments. Congratulations.
