what is the typical age for grad students?
realistically speaking, what is expected of you when you apply (GPA, job experience, etc.)?

i'm sorry this is so vague. i'm still somewhat undecided on what kind of grad school i'm interested in applying to ... possibly media studies, economics, psychology, marketing, advertising. i'm currently majoring in psychology and economics, but i truly want to do something related to media/magazines/pop culture (not film school though). please help! thanks!

I graduated with Bachelors in Accounting. Became an accountant, worked for a large company for 3 years till started feeling like a cog in a machine. Long held dream of being a humanities professor would revisit me every now and then. The following are my choices:
1) To do an MBA (locally) and branch out to Finance from Accounting.
2) Get accounting certifications so I can get a promotion in the same company.
3) Do my Masters in a social science or philosphy and pursue a phD later on, to become a uni prof. For this will quit my current job, take a loan and move away from my family.
If its choice 3, then how do I KNOW that this is what I want.

I was just wondering if anyone knew what college major(s) would allow a person to get a high-paying job after graduation and what would that/those job(s) be?

I know a person should do what they want to do and money doesn't matter, but I am curious. Thanks.

I started my own company in April and it has been extremely successful. I am slowly growing the business and believe that within a year I could have revenue of $50,000 a month.

Should I return to finish my Junior and Senior year of college? I don't want to and I don't think I'll get much from it. My grades are mediocre.

Should I build the business? Or return to school?

I'm going to start my senior year in high school this year and college is something I need to start thinking about. I get good grades and usually get a 3.5 GPA. I really want to attend a four year university in California so i wont be charged out of state fees, but its very expensive. Im not poor but it still is a lot of money. Is there anyone here that has tips to make this time a little more clear? Anything i should be doing?

I mean, I go to a state university(think UofI, penn state), it's regionally accredited, and my degree diploma won't say anything about online degree, plus I'll be graduating in person with everyone else. So how can people say getting an online degree is worthless and just a scam? I agree, there are scams and diploma mills, and even Univ. of Phoenix seems a little bit like a scam, but I go to a university that was found over 100 years ago, and has a campus of 10,000+ students.

I'm attending a community college, and I just got accepted into the honors program, and if I complete the curriculum, how do you think that would look on a med school application, or even more short term, when I transfer out of community college to complete my bachelors degree? Will there be more options available to me if i maintain at least my current standing GPA of 3.6?

I'm also planning on shadowing a doctor next year, as well as participating in research when I transfer to another school. I'm volunteering at a hospital right now, also.

I'm battling to find out about defective verbs.
I know they have incomplete cojugations.
For example, modal auxiliary verbs are defective verbs.
Can someone give me any more examples?
