i want to go to a college/ university that will have a good graduate program in medicine...i know there are some realyl godo ones in california where i live, but i don't know which ones are better than others...and if there r really good ones in other states, i'd like your input thanks...

I am a medical doctor, MD. I do not know what someone might mean when they refer to programs in "medicine". After four years of college a person may go on to "medical school" for four more years and earn a degree in "medicine"- the degree being called an MD degree. They must then do at least three more years of some in-hosopital training as a resident physician, pass a national board examination and the they are called "doctors" or "physicians", finishing trainingat about age 30.

Guess what? I wouldn't do it again. Life is short. I'd enjoy the decade of my 20s like most people do.
