I want to be a doctor but am nervous about not getting into med school...any suggestions?

Hi,
I am currently pursuing Undergrad Math degree from Canadian University....after geting Math Undergrad my plan is stay another year and get second degree in Economics.

Is this a good combination ...some people say you cannot get job with only Bachellors...is this true ?

Without going to grad school I cannot get a decent job with double Major ???

According to my college I should have Magna *** Laude honors because my GPA falls between 3.80 and 3.89. I have a 3.85 and was not mailed a cord or did not have a symbol next to my name that stated I had honors. I was a transfer student to my university from a community college. Could that be why? My college website says you only need 50 credit hours and I had 60. What the hell happened? I was really disappointed.

I'm still trying to get my high school diploma but I'm not sure when I will be finished. I want to start studying to become an Anesthesiologist, I want to move and get away from the people that are negative and always put me down, I'm so tired of feeling worthless. I want to know if there is a school that will accept me with only a GED.

I finished the final early, so I got up to leave and she was all like "No sit down until everyone else finishes."

So i waited like 30 minutes till 2 other people finished and then we all went to her desk + asked her if we could leave and she said okay.

What's up with that??

i could go to a state school for 2 years, then transfer to Boston University, or go to BU for all 4 years. The state school costs 15000 per year, & BU 50000 per year. So it would be that either pay a total of 130000 or 200000, but i like boston better & want to be in the city instead of going to the state school i dont like that much, then have to transfer & start all over again. i missed out a lot on in high school, as i isolated myself more than i wish i did, & didnt try very hard, thats why id like to go to BU, start over at a good university & get good grades, instead of transfering twice, probably just focusing on that & getting a degree & not getting to know too many people at BU by the time i get there. is a difference of 70000 really worth it?

for example if an asian guy gets 1900 on his SAT and an African American guy gets a 1900 on his SAT. University accepts him than the African American guy not the Asian guy.

I understand that you need 4-5 years of work experience to apply to get an MBA. I was wondering if you do part time work for a business for the 4 years of undergrad, would that go under 4 years of work experience, or does part time work not count at all?

I have heard of a story that a guy had a very low GPA, but his application essay was what that made him get into Harvard.

Well, I have a low GPA but I really want to try and prove that I can do very well in college by entering the Johns Hopkins Summer program. I have some extra-curriculars:
Badminton training (won 1st place ladies doubles- Divsion D)
Joined a Badminton club in 2006 (help win a inter-club league)
Go to a social every Saturday night to play fun Badminton
Vice-Captain of the Softball Team
Piano Recitals/ Theory- Currently in Grade 5 practical and grade 2 theory-got a distinction in grade 1 theory and a merit in grade 1 practical
Volunteered to Model at a function
Self Learned and voluneered to play the drums at own Graduation
Volunteered to work at a restaurant for 11 hrs a day for 1 month in the summer
Helped cater for the senator of the USA party in Jamaica

i am 26 years old. i stopped my secondary education when I was 16, now, i want to get back to school and finish a course. I have realized now that i want a good profession.
