The length of classes can vary. You can have one class a week for three hours, or meet three times a week for only 50 minutes. It all depends on where you go and what classes you take. But there are definitely no bells, as everybody is taking different classes at different times. What may be the end of your class might be the middle of some one else's! Trust me though, it's not hard to get used to.

The shortest classes I had were one hour long, 1-5 times per week depending on the number of units (1 time for a 1 unit seminar, 5 times for a 5 unit Russian class.) The longest classes were labs, of which the longest was a 5 hour biochemistry lab twice a week. As you can see, the length of class varies depending on the type of class.

There are no bells. Depending on the school, there is usually a short time between classes (10 minutes at my university) to get to your next class. However, classes can be scheduled far apart from each other.

Class length varies, but generally classes meet Monday, Wednesday, and Friday for one hour each day or for around an hour and fifteen minutes on both Tuesday and Thursday.

Usually there is no bell. The professor releases you whenever you are finished, however, you are not obligated to stay if he is running over and you have another class. This can be tough in smaller classes though.

In my personal experience, there were no bells. And class length differed for each class. Some classes met only once a week for two hours. Others met multiple times a week for 45 minutes.

Each college is different. But don't worry, regardless of how it is structured, you'll do fine.

You choose what days and times you want to take a class. usually a class is anywhere from 50min. to an hour and a half. For example, if you have a class on Mon, Wed, Fri you might have a 50min. class. If you have it on Tuesdays and Thursdays it would be an hour and a half. There is no bell; class ends at the scheduled time or occasionally a little earlier.

At the university I attend, we don't have any bells. The instructor will dismiss you whenever he or she is done with the lecture. Classes vary by how long you have to stay. Your schedule you make should let you know, what days you have class and the times. Good luck!
