I was an A student in High school, and I studied 1-3 hours every weekday.

I was an A student in college, biochemistry major. I studied at least 3 hours every weekday, and often up to 6 hours. I rarely studied on the weekends.

I was an A student in high school. I went to a really competitive public high school and took A.P. classes. I studied when I had to, generally about 2 hours a night give or take. I slacked off a lot though.

I am a 3.0 student at a VERY competitive small lib. arts. college. On a light day I study 3 hours. If I have a paper or test due, I study up to 12 hours in a day. 5 or 6 hours is average for me.

I was never an "A" student but I had some friends who were genius. One of them got 4.00 GPA in 2 semesters straight. He didn't study a lot every day, but what he did is:

1. Attended all classes with extreme punctuality
2. Attended group works and other study activities.
3. Often went to library.
4. Reviewed everything at home that has been discussed in class.
5. Specifically, he used to study an average 2 hours everyday.
6. Barely hanged out with friends/girls. But on vacations he used to hang out a lot.

Im in college and i study about three hours per week...if even that....and for my spring semester i received four A's and one B. The B was in statistics(i really hated that class). But college students study an average of four or three hours. I know because one of my collegues did this research project for her statistics project and she researched how many hours college students study. I can't remember her references because i really wasn't listening to that part of her presentation....but i know she got it from some college that researched it a few years ago. We are suppose to study 30-40 hours, but we really don't and i don't think anybody does. So about three or four hours of study time for college students and in concerns to daily studying...it depends on what they have to do.
